Odigbo local government football council has ushered in the new year with Prayers.
The prayers held at Ore township stadium had football stakeholders across the local government in attendance.
In his remarks, Odigbo FA chairman Dimeji Abimbola harped unity of purpose among stakeholders.
He urged them to be united as new year begins.
On his part,Saluhudeen Sefiu enjoined the stakeholders to adhere strictly to rules of the game.
A memorial Mini-Tournament is to be organized in memory of late Adah Mohammed Aliu who died after a brief illness.
Prayers were offered for the repose of Late Adah Mohammed Aliu and new year.
The meeting had in attendance Odigbo FA chairman Dimeji Abimbola, FA Secretary Saluhudeen Sefiu, Chairman Ade Abbey foundation Adeniyi Joshua.
Others were Odigbo local government Coaches association Vice-chairman Coach Ajayi,Coach association’s PRO Coach Diaby, Members of Nigeria referee Association,Members of Coaches association, Representatives of Players’ Union.
