Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Plateau United has unveiled former Rangers International Assistant coach Mangut Mbwas as the Club’s new head coach.
Mangut, who has been with Rangers International over the past four years, and worked under Salisu Yusuf and Abdul Maikaba, will now be taken his first step in Coaching managerial career.
The former International will be coming to take over the team as head coach as a direct replacement for Fidelis IIechukwu, who left the club after the expiration of his contract.
The Plateau born coach will be coming back to take charge of the 2017 NPFL champions on a two years contract, alongside former Nigerian international Patrick Mansha, who will be coming as chief coach.
Plateau United finished the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) abridge league season on fifth position in Group A, and also missed out of the NPFL Championship playoff, which Enyimba International won last month in Lagos.
