Moldovan Super Liga giant Sheriff Tiraspol, have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian forward David Akpan Ankeye from Tunisian side, Espoir Sportif de Hammam Sousse.
21-year-old Nigerian international, David Akpan Ankeye started his Professional Football career with Nigerian Lower league side, Sidos FC from where he moved to join Swedish side, Hammarby FC on loan in 2021.
However, He went ahead to featured for Hammarby Talang FF on loan before returning to Sidos FC in 2021 upon his loan spell in Sweden.
With many team clamouring for the promising super talent, David Akpan Ankeye landed in Tunisia where he teamed up with Espoir Sportif de Hammam Sousse.
In his first season in the Tunisian topflight league, David Akpan Ankeye turned a dreaded striker, a defenders nightmare as he went ahead to score goals week in week out to attract lots of offers.
