The executive members , Ondo state football Association has described the constitution and inauguration of committee members for a football league in the state tagged, Bet9ja as laughable.
Chairperson, Ondo state football Association, Tayo Onilude who spoke with journalists in Akure the Ondo state capital said coaches in Ondo state will not field teams for any football league in the state until the state FA recognize it’s association as a major football stakeholder.
Tayo Onilude, said it’s incredible for some individuals in the state to wake up and take a decision that has to do with football development in the state without the knowledge of the football coaches Association’s knowledge.
” It’s shocking to read a news item as regards the constitution of a committe for Bet9ja football competition, football coaches are not individuals that shouldn’t be respected, coaches association is reputable and important to the development of football in the state , so it’s a necessity for the organisers to see our association as an important one “
She further said there are alot of pending issues as regards the last Edition of the tournament which needed to be addressed before another edition could be staged .
Onilude further revealed that football Coaches in the state are undergoing scrutiny at the moment to fish out quaks and bring sanity into the association .
She advised football coaches in all the 18 local government areas of Ondo state to steer clear of the said Bet9ja league .
