Nigerian and British boxer Anthony Joshua has been named among the candidates who will receive national awards from President Buhari at the State House, Abuja on October 11.

Joshua was born in Sagamu, Ogun state before the big boxing star relocated to the United Kingdom where he made his name in the game of the ring.

The December battle between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will be a tough one as boxing fans worldwide are waiting for that day.

According to the report on Informat247, Anthony Joshua will be awarded the Officer of the Federal Republic(OFR) as one of the 64 Nigerians in that category of awards and among the full list of the 437 individuals for the National honours.
