As a means to motivate the players of Rangers International F.C to go all out for a massive win over visiting Wikki Tourists F.C in a match day 16, NPFL 2022/2023 Abridge season, the Honorable Commissioner for Youth & Sports, Enugu State, Manfred Nzekwe, has promised each player of the match day squad, the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000.00) only.
Honorable Nzekwe made this promise, Sunday, April 30, 2023, while addressing the players before the match expected to kick off by 16.00 hours at the ‘Flying Antelopes’ adopted home ground, Awka City stadium.
“I know that you have not been lacking in motivation in all your matches but I am here to increase the motivation level going into this encounter with Wikki Tourists F.C. I promise each player in this match the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira only which makes it a total of Two Million Naira only. I trust you guys to go into the field and do the needful. Congratulations in advance,” the youthful commissioner stated.
The management of the team had recently (Thursday, April 27, 2023) cleared all match bonuses due to the players as a further means of raising the players’ level of motivation going into the last three matches of the abridged league season.
