Remo Stars Football club of Ikenne will on Tuesday, August 8 at 2pm battle perennial continental club champion, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan in the first semi final of the Valuejet Cup Preseason tournament holding at the Remo Stars Stadium.
A determined Remo Stars finished the group A preliminaries as group leaders,with 5 points, while Shooting Stars finished as Group B runners up to set up the fixtures as two giants battle for supremacy.
The two former winners of the ValueJet Pre-season tournament, are determined to make it to the grand finale which has been fixed for the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on August 10th.
In the second semi finals, Group A leaders, Beyond Limits FA will play against Group B runners- up, Kwara United Fc of Ilorin at 4.30pm.
This is another epic battle that will take the winners to the grand finale of the Valuejet Cup 2023.
The Director of Media, Valuejet Cup 2023, Mr. Tobi Adepoju, said Monday that, Wednesday, August 9th will be observed by all the teams in the competition, as a Rest Day, while semi final matches hold on 9th August and the final match, take centre stage on 10th August at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.
