Royal Gold Soccer Academy of Akure has given Akure high school playing ground a face-lift.
It will be recalled that the playing ground had been long abandoned and became unplayable
Seemingly as unaccomplished tasks, Royal Gold Soccer Academy was not deterred with the condition of the field took the bull by the horns by making it playable again.
Speaking on how it was achieved,the gaffer of the academy Pastor Johnson Blessing said collective efforts made it achievable.
” We were not deterred although it seems unachievable because the field was too bushy”
” My boys and l did the clearing and ensured it can be used for matches again”
” After the clearing,We took money from our coffers to erect goalposts”
“We will maintain the field and ensure that the school facilities are kept safe”
He added by saying that the academy is planning to embark on constructing pavilion for the school.
