Desire Oparanozie is still on cloud nine after helping her Chinese Women’s team Wuhan Jianghan FC to the League crown.
Jiangsu Wuxi beat Wuhan Jianghan FC 1-0 in the early hours of Saturday but the points garnered in the past were enough to secure them the title.
The Super Falcons forward was one of the key players in the team after joining them last summer from the French women League side FC Dijon.
“Behold your Chinese Women’s Super League Champion What A Year! Proud”, she said.
Oparanozie missed the 2022 Women’s African Cup of Nations in Morocco for Super Falcons due to border restrictions but she’s expected to return to the team ahead of the 2023 FIFA World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
