Members of the Ekiti state chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) will today Wednesday February 1 visit Christ School in Ado Ekiti.
The visit billed to hold between 10am and noon will afford SWAN members the privilege to interact with students of Christ School and also sensitize them on the need to place premium on participation in sports without letting it affect their academics.
The SWAN executive and members will also witness an exhibition game involving the students and also inspect some of the sports facilities at the school.
Expected to be in attendance are the principal, Venerable Ebenezer Osho and teachers of the school who will coordinate the students for the program.
The SWAN Anniversary for this year which is the 59th edition of the annual program organized by SWAN nationwide is being held in Ekiti state with a view to encouraging sports participation among students
