Terem Moffi terrific goal wins Europa goal of the week

Red-hot Nigerian striker, Terem Moffi has been declared the winner of the Europa League Goal of the Week award.

Moffi’s incredible acrobatic goal in Nice’s 2-2 draw against Basel was overwhelmingly voted for by the fans.

Moffi scored two goals for Nice in the pulsating encounter.

The forward beat Anderlecht’s Majeed Ashimeru, Jonathan Ikone of Fiorentina and KAA Gent midfielder, Hugo Cuypers to the award.

Terem Moffi’s incredible finish wins Goal of the Week,” reads a tweet on the UEFA official Twitter handle.

The 22-year-old is also in the running for the Player of the Week award

Moffi has scored three goals in three appearances for Les Aiglons in the UEFA Europa Conference League this season.
