The Nigerian athlete spoke at the forum alongside American make-up artist and Peloton cycling instructor, Tunde Oyeneyin; and Cameroonian basketball player with Toronto Raptors, Pascal Siakam.
Amusan appeared at the forum dressed in a flashy pink suit, a black bag and a black pair of shoes.
Her lemon-coloured nails also did not go unnoticed.The hurdler posted photos of the event on Instagram, noting that she was still over the moon for being invited to speak at the forum.“Still in awe; I was indeed elated to have been selected to speak at United Nations Global Impact Forum tagged ‘Unstoppable Africa,’” she wrote.Amusan also thanked the organisers and her management team for making it happen.“Utmost gratitude to the organizers, my management team & all my iHurdle fam across the globe,” she said.In one of the photos she posted, Amusan is seen posing with the head of sports at The Plug, Lanre Vigo.
Amusan recently signed a management deal with the company.Earlier, Mr Vigo posted a photo of the event on Instagram, stating that he was proud of Amusan.“United Nations moving sports forward forum with guest panelist @ihurdle_33.0inches OON hosted by @giantsofafrica I’m so proud of you Tobi this is just the beginning for you,” he wrote.Amusan replied in the comment section, “My Personal Everything, God bless you abundantly.
