Belgium Jupiler League champion Royal Antwerp are currently in talks to sign Nigeria International Chidera Ejuke, as they currently strengthening its team to have a better outing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
The The Belgian club has began talks with the Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow for the services of the Super Eagles forward ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The Nigerian pace forward returned to CSKA Moscow at the end of last season after spending the season on loan with the German Bundesliga side Herta Berlin.
Ejuke moved to Europe in 2017, after he played in Norway for Valenrenga before joining the Dutch Eredivisie side Herrenven.
Before joining the German side on loan, Ejuke played 65 games for CSKA scoring 10 goals.
Ejuke’s move to Belgium will benefit Antwerp if the deal materialised due to his exploits in Europe and the Nigeria national team.
