Napoli manager, Luciano Spalletti has said Victor Osimhen’s presence will be crucial for his side in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against Serie A rivals, AC Milan.
The Partenopei will be hoping to bounce back from last week’s 1-0 defeat when they host Milan in the quarter-final second leg at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Osimhen missed the first leg as a result of a muscle Injury.
The 24-year-old impressed in Napoli’s 0-0 home draw against Hellas Verona last Saturday.
The Nigeria international came close to handing Napoli all three points in the game but his superb strike five minutes from time hit the frame of the post.
“Osimhen gave that burst of enthusiasm that our fans rightly attribute to him by now and he immediately showed that he was in the game, “Spalletti told Radio Kiss Kiss ahead of the clash against AC Milan.
“He needed these 25 minutes of running to be ready to play on Tuesday. It is clear that we will also see the players in training.”
