Former continental club champion, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan defeated Remo Stars of Ikenne 3-0 in the first semi finals to set up a grand finale against Beyond Limits FA in the ValueJet Cup 2023 pre-season tournament.
Shooting Stars goals were scored by Alao Danbani, Anayo Ogbonna and Ayobami Adekunle. While Beyond Limits in the second semi final played a 2-2 draw and won 4-2 by penalties to beat the Dele Aiyenugba led Kwara United.
The final holds 3pm Thursday, August 10 at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne. The champion will go home with N2m, runners up N1.5m and third place N1m.
