All-stars FC of Ore have proceeded to the final of 2023 West Challenge Cup in Ore after beating Mighty Sparrow by a goal to nil.
It was an Action-packed and an end-to-end encounter as both showed good stuffs at both ends.
Both teams showed defensive brilliance in the first half stanza as tie remained goaless.
Going to the second half,it was stalemate as attempts keep flying at both ends of the match.
As it looked that penalty lotteries would be adopted to decide,the Super-sub Ahmed came to the rescue of All-stars FC.
Ahmed came on late in the second half and scored the winner.
Gotie was however Adjudged to be the man-of-match.
Earlier at the U-14 category,WIFA beat Iyaniwara 5-3 on penalties after playing one-all-one draw in the match duration.
The other Semi-final encounter will be decided today as WIFA face high flying Shaba FC.
