It was an encounter between Bitumen FA and Mighty Sparrow.
Bitumen have already qualified having won their first two matches while mighty Sparrow needed a point.
The first half ended in a stalemate as both sides sat deep.
Upon the resumption of the second half, Emmanuel Raphael almost broke the deadlock for Bitumen FA with a well-taken free-kick which was parried away by Sparrow’s goalie
The introduction of Bebeto and Pascal brought more sparks to the match.
However,the deadlock was eventually broken when Farouk beat his man and fired home the ball which was parried into the leg of on rushing Pascal who made no mistake to put Mighty Sparrow ahead .
His goal proved pivotal as Mighty Sparrow leapfrogged Bitumen to emerged as the group winners.
In the other game of the group, Invincible FC and Trinity FC played an inconsequential goaless draw.
Actions continue today at Beulah Football Field in Ore.
