Highlander fc started their group C opener with astonishing and brilliant display of 5 goals in the first half before they later scored 3 more goals in the second half.
Afeez Babatunde with a Glut [5 goals], Usman Halilu with a Brace and Ibrahim Sheu were on target for Highlander FC; and Paul Winner was also on target for Youngchester Fa.
The goal margin makes Highlander to top the log C with 3 point, +7 GD and on the other way sees Youngchester FA being eliminated from WCC2023, having lost to WIFA and also to Highlander because they’re 3 team in the Group.
At the Under 14 category, Success Fc U14 recorded their first win in WCC2023 from two games which stirred up their hope of qualification!
Afolabi Abdullahi was on target twice for Success Fc in the first half.
