Nigerian and African Champion in the men’s Shot put, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi missed out on qualifying for tonight’s final after placing 7th in Group A with a best throw of 20.66m, which wasn’t adequate to take him to the next round
The throwers needed to record at least 21.40m, or be among the Top 12 best performers.
This is the Nigerian Record-holder’s fourth outing at the World Championships. Enekwechi has a Season’s Best of 21.69m set in May
