Wales’ women’s football team have continued their perfect start to the Euro 2025 qualifying campaign with a resounding 6-0 victory over Kosovo. The team is chasing their first major tournament appearance and have made an excellent start to life under new head coach Rhian Wilkinson.
Jess Fishlock, who was winning her 150th international cap, played a pivotal role in the victory with two first-half assists. The team showed attacking intent and composure in front of goal, with six different players getting on the scoresheet. The victory comes after their 4-0 win over Croatia in Wrexham and the team has caught the eye with their impressive style of play. Despite the hard playing surface, Wales maintained control throughout and restricted the home side, who failed to muster a shot on target. The team will now look to build on their performances and aim for consistency going forward.
